Bisher al-Rawi, a former Guantanamo Bay detainee, is brought to tears as he discusses how helpless he feels in regards to the current situation of the detainees he spent time with in Guantanamo Bay (who are still incarcerated there), most of them wrongly accused and held without any specific charges or evidence to prove any threat they may pose.

“Working on things related to Guantanamo is so painful that you do it for a day, you do it for two days, you do it for a while, and then you just want to run away from everything. I seem to be doing that. I work a bit then it consumes me so much that I just can’t bear it anymore and that’s just when I stay away from things for a while and then go back. And I wish I could work harder, I wish I could do something…. I wish I could, I wish I could help more, but I just want to say I’m sorry, I really don’t know what to do. I’m very sorry.”

Torture and humiliation methods include (but are not limited to) physical abuse, forced nudity, sexual humiliation, sexual assault, forced injections, sleep deprivation, long and short shackling for hours on end, environmental manipulation, violent dogs, use of phobias as torture, extreme cold, cultural humiliation, religious humiliation, hours of interrogations, sensory bombardment, stress positions, sensory deprivation, isolation, and music torture.

If you want to pick up more trash on the side of the highway, than make some amends, you should donate some more time, maybe tell kids that exactly what you did isn’t right. But I’m also a realist and I know that none of these things will happen, because Chris Brown isn’t a man.

Tbh I don’t like that people believe you can’t hit someone based on their gender. I feel it comes from this bullshit chivalry crap that women are delicate flowers who can’t take a punch and stand up for themselves. When it comes to self-defense you’re not going to pause to think about their gender. Not all women should be revered. Anyone can be a victim. Murder, assault, and rape are gender-less, we all have the ability to commit horrible acts.

But if this guy is against Chris Brown, he’s fighting the good fight.
